Many Many Poppies

I moved into a new house last year, and my first mission was to strip the incredibly overgrown front garden to the soil. It happened, then winter happened, then in spring it seemed that all the seeds that never got a chance suddenly grew, and grew… And now I have so many poppies I literally don’t know what to do with them… Well, ok, I picked a few for stock. I am surprised that their red petals only last about half a day on some of the poppy breeds, so it was an early morning to make these shots!
